I think Technics has fallen flat by making
kn7000.I dont think it is worth upgrading board board for the owners of kn6xxx.It
must have been equiped with a sampler.
The offical site of 7000 is still missing
the manual because there are lot of people
like me who like to download manual first
before they buy the board because we dont
have dealers around to have demo of it.

The 7000 web site has frozen for a time.
What Technics people are doing up there to
promote this flagship.Uptill now they have
not even managed to publish the manual.I think this will help the sale market and will
make people more familiar to this board.

Is there some one lisetening at Technics
IF so, Move up Move Up.......Please.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion including myself.

I find the 7000 the most awesome board I have ever had,and I have had many, including the KN5000. It is true that many people, including myself, do not understand all facets of the new features like SD,Song Manager, and Juke Box, but,a supplemental publication is in the works.

There are too many pluses to the 7000 to list. I for one will wait until the dust settles, and in the meantime enjoy the best board ever made.IMHO

I've read many posts that state the KN7000 doesn't offer much more than the KN6000/6500 but I find that not to be the case. The simple fact that the KN7000 has twice the polyphony of the KN6000/6500 easily makes it worth upgrading for anyone who does lots of sequencing and orchestration. 64 extra voices of polyphony can sure come in handy! Now consider that the KN7000 has an improved speaker system, some new soloist sounds, improved organ sounds, a USB port, SD card storage, and four expansion slots and that to me constitutes a decent upgrade path. The one thing Technics left off that I wish the KN7000 had is the controller ball. The controller ball is great for doing unique filter and panning FX. If they had also added sampling the KN7000 would be a major force to be reckoned with.

The KN7000 user manual in PDF format, is available here : http://www.pasc.panasonic.com/OperMan/FindManual.asp?Pass=3
It is over 7Mb long.

As a owner of the KN7000 I must post an answer to your negative remarks.
I have owned the KN7000 since Sept. and can say it is the most advanced and enjoyable keyboard I have ever owned (Have owned Roland, Yamaha, Wersi)
I have two more people in a group and we play often at each others houses.
They are totally satisfied with the 7000 and have owned other keyboards as well.
For one who states that he cannot get to play one, you seem to have decided to bash it before it deserves bashing ! Lloyd

Shakeel,

You do not state what board you presently own. Technics??

If you have played the 7000 I for one, welcome your comments. If you have not I do not welcome your, not based on fact, comments.

I have received great assistance from this and the Technote Forum which I am extreemly greatful.

Members of this Forum are always ready to assist anyone posting a comment or question.
However post's of your nature do not belong on this Forum.

Shakeel, this is just my opinion, not the Forum.

Wish you happiness with whatever keyboard you select,

Fran in Florida

Faran and all,

currently i own 6500 & psr9000 and for
your peoples' kind information i love 6500
many times more than 9000.I love technics
os because it is composed from a real musicians' point of view.I call my self
a technics player. And i am the only being
who itroduced and persuaded people to buy
technics boards in Pakistan and many people moved.

There are some people in this forum who are real short temperd.Be cooooool....it is
just a matter of opinion. And my opinion about
kn7000 is formed by the posts of u people...
dont mind it and please dont take it
pesonal cause i didnt mean to disheart who
have 7000.I wrote everything out of my shere
love for Technics. If they simply equip it
with a sampler I will be the first proud
owner of 7000.

Somehow,if I could be able to sell my 6500
which is 6 months old and i know it difficult
to sell it in Pakistan, will must go for 7000
evevn without sampler.
