Hello,

I am ready to receive the technics kn7000.
I made a backup off my hdsx6 on my pc. Three parts for three partitions.
I received my 3 Secure digital cards today.
3 * 64Mb. I think this will be enough.
I copied each partition to one SD memory card....and now I am waiting to put them in the kn7000 to look what's happening.
The countdown can begin...

Sunny and warm greetings from Belgium,
Alain

It does sound like you're ready.

I'm wondering if you can just copy your files to the new SD card like that or if they will need to be formatted especially for the KN7000. I guess you'll find out when you get your keyboard.

The music store where I hang out just got their new PSR 804 digital piano. This is one of three new items Technics is relesing in August with the lnog awaited KN700 which we expect anyday now.

Several features on this piano I'm sure are going to be on the 7000.
The "new" grand piano sound is not to be believed! They've really cleaned it up. Also, the sound system in this thing is very good. The sounds are crystal clear and very "right in your face." There is a big bass port for the subwoofer that really gives the bass some punch.

Some of the soloists sounds are most excellent. the "new" Trumpet soloist is unreal. You will swear there is a person right next to you playing the trumpet.

The PSR 804 has the same video outputs as the 7000 will have, have not experimented with that yet, or the software that will allow you to create your own CD's using the USB port on the Technics to the computer.

All looks very well in Technics land.

As soon as we get our 7000, I'll post another message......anyday now.

Mark

Well, t6he biggest reason I want to upgrade from my 6500 to the 7000 is for 128 polyphony. I record everything into a digital 8 over 8 track. Virtual 64 tracks. Much better sound that way. My digital 64 track has better effect quality. I am not thrilled with my kn6500.
