Something seems to have gone wrong with my file 'IF' on the 20for1 Vol. 6. When loaded, There appears to be only one file (the 'LSW file) and it is incorrectly named '20 F____.lsw' It should of course be '20 IF____.lsw However, all the other files are present but because effectively there are two different '20' files, only the first one is loading ie '20 F_____'
The .lsw file could be renamed on a PC and the sequence should then be OK. However, I have re-sent the files to Bill and asked that they may be included in the Vol.8

Bill, I checked the file and corrected the file name that was wrong. Please click on this address and verify that the new version is OK. If so, I'll upload a new volume 6 disk. http://gabrendale.home.att.net/if.ZIP

Nice one Bob - Thanks very much - greatly appreciated. Just checked the revised file and the song loads OK now.

Thank you so much for providing the facility through which the forum members can freely exchange their musical creations.

OK, I have uploaded a new Volume 6 that fixes the file name error. For those of you that downloaded volume 6; you can use the address above to download the revised version of "If" and you won't have to take the time to download the whole volume. I'll leave the if.zip file on the site for a couple of weeks.

For those of you that downloaded the original volume 6 with the file name error in the song "If". Bill Norrie's song "If" is now correct on both volumes 6 and 8. I will remove the If.zip file from the web site tomorrow.

Oh Dear ! Looks like I've made a total mess of the 'IF' song on the 20 for 1 files !
When I transferred the files from hard disc to Floppy for emailing, I did not select the 'ALL' option for the Panel Memories. Since the panel memory set-up for the song was in Panel Memory Bank 6 it did not get transferred to the Floppy and so the correct voices are not in the files. When I checked the floppy, I neglected to Initialise the Performance option so my KN6000 was still set up to point to Panel Memory Bank 6 and the song sounded OK. In future, maybe I should use Banks A,B & C only.
MUST TRY HARDER !
Apologies to all - It doesn't sound too good at all.

Embarrassed ........

Reminds me of one of my "senior moments". . Send me the corrected version, Bill, and I'll put it on the download site.
