Hi to one and all. Does anyone know how, or can anyone convert a song done in technics format to midi format. We tried some time ago but without success. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The song was recorded on a KN6000, its actually a backing hence the need for Midi format.
Thank you in advance.
Anne

Are you the same Anne from Scotland that used to send me emails, and I haven't heard from in quite some time? If so, good to see you up and around. If not, well.....hello.

Almost forgot. I have a similar question, too. I have 20 tapes of songs done on a kn1500, but not the disks. Can these tapes be transfered to a midi format, then back to a kn6k format? I realize that sounds may be screwed up, but I really don't want to redo all those songs again just to upgrade the styles and sounds. Any advice?

assign the tracks you have used to empty tracks in the apc to smf convert page in the sequencer / copy and paste menu, and play the backing out in real time into multitrack midi format.

then step edit the correct voices and volumes at the start of each track.
