I'm a newby as far as midi goes and wondered if anyone can help me?.

I'm trying to record and drive my SD1 using cakewalk sonar director but despite reading the manual umpteen times I can't figure out how to get my patches to match the fantastic sounds on the SD1.

I can't even find the SD1 sounds when I try to change the sounds on the tracks but I read something about installing a ins file for the Ketron SD1 to make it compatable?

I'd be very gratefull for any help received.

In case its needed my email is alex@amack.f9.co.uk

Hello Viocaia,

How can I thank you - the files you directed me to worked and I now can get those fabulous Ketron sounds.

How enjoyable it is too to see so many Ketron "real sound" enthusiasts - Does my heart good in a world that appears to be full of Korg, Roland and Yamaha to meet others who share my own belief that Ketron sounds stand supreme.

Absolutely no disrespect intended to Korg, Roland or Yamaha who also make very high quality instruments.

I would like to convey my grateful thanks to you Viocaia for taking time to reply and for solving a problem I have had for 9 months.

A wonderful comaradary exsists in this forum - Long may it continue.
