Well I have been on this forum for two days now and have appreciated everyones reply to my first post. I must admit that I am still a novice. I know that I am probably not using my Trinity to its full capacity. I guess I am interested in hearing about your setups, and what you are accomplishing with it. I will be buying a computer soon and would like to cross over to mastering and editing my trinity sequences and Roland 1680 songs on a PC. What do I need? What software is good? I am not afraid of a learning curve. Thanks guys.

If you're set on a PC, then look at a high-end Pentium II or III. If a Mac is more your forte, then look at a G3 server (one with a disk drive for copy protection disks).

For the software, you have many choices, ranging from PowerTracks Pro Audio and Cakewalk Home Studio all the way up to Cubase VST/24, Logic Audio Platinum 4.0 and Cakewalk Pro Audio 8.0. Have a look at a local music store and decide based upon the interface and future expadability.
