I've got a lead on picking up an SP100, second hand (2 years old).
Any comments on this unit. I'm going to be using whatever I get in my studio only, not gigging with it.
Anyone....

Don't be too hasty. That model has been replaced by the sp200, and the key action is better. I can get you a brand new sp100 for $650. Call me 215-757-8598 USA EST.

I appreciate it Dave, but that's still about $1050 Canadian after exchange so it's a bit tight, at least at this time. The new SP100's are listed at an even grand up here, at least that's the price at Long & Mcquade's.Would it be better to go Yamaha??
By the way...Seeing as you're back on the forum, I hope all went well for you. Last I saw, you were taking a break to take care of some personal matters. Again, I hope things are okay for you and I appreciate your response.

I decided to snap up the SP100 that the lady was selling up here (Canada). $650 Canadian,
that was a steal. Mint shape, no scratches, everything operates just fine. She's now my dedicated studio piano.
Thanx for your response and info.
