Who thinks I'm nuts...
I'm dumping my XV-2020 and JV-1080 for a Motif Classic Rack. I just don't think these Roland sound sets can compete with the even the classic Mo sounds.

This makes me a total Yamaha user. S90, ES7, Mo Rack and the TX802... no other synths.... however, Because of it's ability to control and I am holding onto my SR-JV-80 Special effect card, I may pickup a used XP-60 next year.

So I guess its not a total g'bye to Roland... I also think about a VK8M from time to time.

I don't think you're nuts. You have to move onto whatever sound set you like best.
I have the S90ES amongst a few other things and the Motif sounds are very good.
Best of luck with the new rack unit.

Bob we all run in cycles..I have moved from Yamaha to Roland, to Korg, to Siel, to Solton and back to Roland...My constant has been Roland more so than the others..Roland will see you again in the future..

Enjoy what works for YOU..it doesn't matter who makes it..
