With MIDI. Either you need to get a MIDI interface, one with USB for example or you get a joystick-port to MIDI adapter.

Before you post any more questions, I'd just like to point out that a MIDI-cable does NOT carry any audio signals.

I can't find what kind of connections the XV-88 has but it is very possible you can use your serial port.

The idea of someone having an XV88 and not knowing how to connect it to their computer is like someone buying a formula one racing car and then asking which pedal makes it go forward.

Kinda reminds me of the time when an old and slightly overweight friend of mine purchased a £300 quid carbon fibre ultra lightweight tennis racquet after watching the Wimbledon final on TV a few years ago.

I know that you can do that with midi, but in the manual is another solution to connect it to your computer, without a midi interface. just a cable from the keyboard (with a switch to set it to pc or mac) to the serial (com1) port of the computer. And excuse me, i know how midi works.I connected it, didn't work.Now I'm pretty sure i need a driver for this.Now my question is where could i possibly find such a driver?
