So, you're not just here to ask what might be a good beginner's keyboard?

(without using the search function of the board, of course, but that goes without saying really)

Fraid not, tekminus. In truth, I am not a keyboard player at all, but am very active on many forums related to the music industry. I thought I would get the feel of this forum before participating a lot. These boards are quite nice, and I look forward to lurking, posting, and participating in many ways.

My best,

J.R. has a company that makes seats for musicians. http://www.soundseat.com He called me on the phone and spoke with me today and is sending me one of his seats that is suitable for keyboard players. I will definately check it out and let you know how it is. He told me that until recently they had been concentrating more on seats for guitarists and drummers but now are producing them for keyboardists.

keyboardists get a bench, drummers get a throne, (no doubt because they think theyre hot shit) which is what the guitarist sits on...a stool ahuh a yukyuk

budududump pishhhhh

Nice to know you sir. I know right now that if it will store an endles amount of stuff more than a piano bench, Im game for two unseen. Actually, realistically, you should hook up with Uncle Dave JR. Dave sells gear.

Mr. Morphamatik,

Nice to meet you. The only things a Soundseat ''stores'' are stability, and absolute comfort. I look forward to meeting Uncle Dave Jr..

My best,

Well JR, I'd just like to welcome you to the forum and wish you good luck. It's refreshing to see an innovative new idea seeing the light of day.

Dear Equalizer:

Thanks so much for the welcome. I will do a post after Nigel shares his thoughts on the chair. BTW, one member has already ordered a chair and I look forward to his observations, also.

My best,
