I have a pair of tannoy reveal (non-active) monitors and was wondering what brand of amp should I get to power them with?

the instruction book for the tannoys said the power handings are:

Average (2) = 50 W rms
Programme = 100 W rms

TIA!

Those are my favorite speakers in that price range. I recommend using a normal stereo reciever (50-100 watts is fine)- that way you can hook up another set of "home" type speakers fopr A?B comparisons. That also allows you to connect CD recorders, cassette recorders, etc. in line as well.
If you'd rather have a dedicated amp - almost any of the referance amps will be fine for that application. hafler, Alessis, whatever - they are just raw power and color the sound very little at moderate volume levels.
