Thought you all might like to see my stage setup. This is from a wedding I did last Saturday. I use pretty much the same setup whether I play solo or with a band. Pictured are my Yamaha 9000 Pro keyboard on a QuikLok Monolith stand, (2) Chauvet "Bob the Flame Lights" sitting in plant stands, bench, fan, Motion Sound KB-200s amp on a QuikLok amp stand, and the small blue thing under it is a Creative Lab Nomad Jukebox for break music MP3's. The black box on the floor next to the bench is a Radio Shack switch for turning the flame lights on and off. Setup or takedown is under 15 minutes.

This all looks more impressive at night but the day shot gives more detail. The gooseneck LittleLites are part of the keyboard and they light up enough that I don't need a light on my music. The "flame lights" look especially great after dark and are just a piece of silk cloth being blown by a fan so they are totally safe. They can be found at places like Musician's Friend. A guy told me during the gig how much he liked my "pyrotechnics" - this was significant because he was a Rhode Island fireman! Enjoy...

Pro, With that Italian AC[fan] on the floor and the flames and where they are located, I hope you never have to expell gas during a show..

The amp is always behind me whenever I use it, which is the suggested placement according to the owner's manual. I also play a regular gig where the house PA is a pair of Mackie powered speakers so the amp stays home then.

Fran: Fortunately the flames are not real, but they look real even close up.

Donny - those little lights are two of the COOLEST features that the 9kpro offered! They plug intp sockets in the back and are powered by the keyboard, itself. If I'm not mistaken, there is even a dimmer switch. If I could live without on board speakers ..... I'd STILL have a 9kpro.(in spite of the size & weight)

Pro,
I love that stand! It looks really sturdy and the 9000pro looks amazing on it.
Very nice setup, tho I would LOve to see it at night to get the full lighting effect. Bet it looks great.
Best wishes
Tony
