Hi,

I have a psr 9000 and a technics kn6000.
If I want to load style files in the psr9000 I push on the buttom disk direct and I have all the stylefiles which are on the floppy.
I have a problem on doing this on my kn6000. I have floppies with different patterns for the 6000 and when I trie to load them I can only see one pattern...where are the others... Do I do something wrong??
Thanks,

Alain,

This could be due to the filename (slot number) "feature" of Technics instruments.

If all the files on your disk start with the digits "01" (for example) then they will all appear in the first location on the KN6000s display. For example if you have the files:

01FILE1.CMP
01FILE2.CMP
01FILE3.CMP

On your floppy, you will only see:

FILE3

Listed on the KN6000s loading screen. To fix this, just rename the files using your PC to:

01FILE1.CMP
02FILE2.CMP
03FILE3.CMP

i.e. change the two digit slot number to something between 01 and 20 for each file.

I have written some free PC software to help with this, if you are interested email me and I'll send it to you.

I hope this helps,

Andy.

I changed the patterns as you said and yes it did the job.
Thanks for this.
I would be interested in the pc software to change such patterns.

Thanks in advance,
