Thanks Squeak_d

My vote goes to Grand 1, much more detailed and balanced than Grand 2.

BTW, i'm using a pair of studio monitors.

Ok, Donny, I've uploaded 5 tunes to esnips.
None have me playing kboards.
2 are Heidi singing and 3 I am singing.
Will start new thread and post link.

Would you care to run the Purgatory Creek MIDI file through it, and see how it stacks up?

Very enjoyable as usual, Squeak. Isn't it amazing how good low-end keyboards can sound? It wasn't too long ago that you'd only get this kind of quality sound on high-end boards.

Squeak and OldNewb,
I can't get esnips to work for me I tried a couple of times both with IE and Firefox. If it's possible and not a big problem and anyone would like to email a couple of the files I'd love to hear both of you.

Hi mikeathome
Are you using any download software, such as download accelerator etc, as some sites wont let you download unless they are disabled?
Also make sure your ISP has not activated anything on your account to prevent downloads. (Have a look in their FAQ)
Hope this helps

Bill

thanks for the reply. I don't use download software and I can download from every place else, even limewire. I'm thinking it might be the McAfee firewall that came with my dsl but overall everything else is working fine so I don't want to mess with it.
I did get on to the site and I see the player but nothing is playing and I don't see anything downloading.
Is there a way to download the file?
As soon as I click in esnips the browser stops responding and I have to close it.

squeak, is there any chance of you posting a SHORT .wav instead of MP3?

I can't tell if that aliasing noise comes from the piano or from the MP3 encoder, but if it is from the piano, that makes it completely unacceptable IMO...
