For a moment I thought no one knew of Steve Tyrell but me. He does "Just The Way You Look Tonight" in the movie "Father Of The Bride." That's the first time I heard him. He does all the standards. I think Rod Stewart and some of these other guys doing the standards heard some of Steve Tyrell's stuff.

My buddy Jack Ness and I say Steve Tyrell rules. He swings naturally. No forcing anything.

Do you know if he plays an instrument also, Or does he just do vocals? I'd like to think that he's doing the piano on his recordings. On his site he claims to have worked with my old buddy Dr. John years ago. I like anybody with a gravely voice like him and Ray Charles that can sing in tune.
