Sorry friends,

My thoughts and grieve for the 19 lives of Italian soldiers murdered in one day at Nassyrya by vile terrorist attack, while bringing peace back to Iraq, side by side with American soldiers.

Freedom and Peace can be very expensive at times.

God bless their souls and families.

Amelio

Three of them came from my city.

May God bless their souls, and help their families.

Don't really want to discuss this kind of subject here, but it would not happened if USA and other countries (Italy in this case) would get the hell out of Iraq ASAP (not to mention that USA shouldn't have been started this mess).

Saddam is still alive; no weapons of mass dist. have been found; mission not accomplished - what the hell they are doing there now? To be embaraced more and soldiers to be killed?

Simple answer: money talks and that's why those guys are dying. But they don't know about it. And there will be more casualties.

2nd Vietnam is on the horizon....... (history repeats itself)

Sorry New Yorker, you are wrong in your assessment. It was a job that was needed to be done and should have been taken care of long time ago. But anyway, it is better not to discuss this subject now because every person has a different opinion. I just wanted to present a different prespective.

Friends,

no politics in this thread, pls.

Italy stood close to USA on 9/11.
11/12 saw the major loss of our soldiers' lives since II World War. I just grieve and sorrow for them and their families.

Words of simpathy from Americans are just much appreciated.
