This is a question for anyone who has experience with a Digitech Vocalist VR harmonizer...

Over the last few days, I've found the VR footswitch pedal to be reacting slowly when I stomp on it. I've cross-checked the 1/4 chord I'm using and it tests perfectly.

Its a used unit, probably several years old, but has worked great..

Ideas?

Suggestions?

Bill,

Is it the three-button switch? If this is the case, mine works great and has never given me a problem. However, there have been times when I experienced a slowdown. The problem was in the software, which after doing a master reset was quickly resolved.

Good Luck,

Gary

I believe it is a two button switch that U.D. modified.

Tom,
The only mod I made was to disconnect (and remove) one switch and put in the jack to access a sustain pedal.
It's more likely the software, but I guess the switch CAN wear out. Dunno ...
