That's a brilliant site, thanks donny.

My playing days started in the very early 60's in the UK - could there have been a better introduction to the game? I've played alongside most of the top UK bands of that era. What a fantastic time it all was. Check out all the bands who played at one of my all time favourite venues back then.

Speaking of the gear in those days, most of the organists in the groups used a Vox Continental, closely followed by Farfisa Duo organs. I was a bit of a rarity in that I had a Watkins Telstar

before I graduated to a Hammond L100 with a knock-off Leslie made by some bloke in North London.

It would be interesting to know something of the origins of forum members re. playing in this era. Thanks again, donny.

renig.....oh yeah I perormed & owned with all three of those keyboards....the Vox Continental with the Black keys /white Sharps got me hooked after I saw Question Mark & The Mysterians use one ! The Farfisa with the little fold down knee lever for more treble great for "Doors" songs!
