Wouln't it be cool if you could pretty much roll your entire rig into a venue, plug in and go?
I don't have a truck or SUV, so, the gear goes into a Ford Taurus. Is there a collapsible rock n roller cart thingie that could double as a music stand for fast-in, fast-out gigs?
The thinking being that you could even, more or less, permanently mount a keyboard to a collapsible stand. Roll it up to the open door of your car and slide all of it into the back seat.
Ideally, it would all be self-contained, meaning speakers (except for the heavy sub) part of the package. Ideally. Would be hard to do all of that, I suppose. The ideal being, you roll in and can set up in like five minutes.
EDIT: Like an ambulance gurney. Hey, there's an idea. Those things are probably stout.
I have a need for this, haha, not just dreaming.

Last summer I posted a photo of the Rock & Roller cart rigged with the keyboard atop the pair of Barbetta Sona 32-Cs and the laptop off to one side. The entire front was covered with a sign made of velvet with fabric letters so no one could readily see the wheels, cables or speakers. Essentially, you could have left everything in place an rolled it up a ramp and into a full-size van, then lock the wheels in place.
My setup time now takes about 12 minutes with both the Logitech Z-5500 and the Bose PAS, but I hope make the Bose setup go faster when I harness the cables next week.
