None of us in the band make our living as jazz players. In fact, we were all in Dave Martin's studio, the bass player; for the past few days making a Christian country record for a client. So I'd been playing everything from tele to banjo to harmonica, anything but jazz piano. Tommy was our drummer and Dave was our bassist on the record, so we were all very happy to step outside our bill-paying job to go play a spontaneous jazz gig on the radio. Fun times.
