The Godin I ordered from George came in today...archtop...P-90...beautiful Cognac finish. Looks like something from out of the 40's.

Check them out!

Case supplied is a terrible extruded foam that tears and scars badly. Looks like a drink cooler.

AWFUL!

Found a guy who will sell a 2 month old one for $695.00, including a MUCH BETTER case than the supplied one, if anyone is interested.

Other than the case it sound like a great buy. I'm guessing it plays and sounds good too?

Nigel, it's very bright sounding. Sort of retro. Needs a little adjustment in the set-up. Mainly, it's just COOL!

The really good sounding one is the beautiful Guild x-150 I got this week. Blond-one humbucker. They quit making them a while back. This one is perfect. I have an X-500, which is similar, with 2 pick-ups, but this one is just pure delight for a jazz hard-liner.

Man, I love my guitars!
