So I bought this XJ6 (XJ40) to play with and do up. I spent the weekend buffing and polishing and am quite astonished at the result. What 'ja think of my new baby! It cost a small fortune and am nervous to do anything other than drive it so that is why I bought this. She is pretty though I think Lounge, Strange you thought the wheels nice......close up they are atrocious. Very pitted. I am trawling ebay as we speak to find some replacements. Best wishes Tony

About 50 years ago, the slang word for car in the U.S. was wheels, therefore, when someone says "Nice Wheels they're referring to the entire car--not the wheels. I'm still trying to find out why speaking American is called speaking English--definitely two different languages.
