I only knew the longer (and more naughty) version, like the kid comes back and says "why was i the only one who answered the teacher's questions dad" "because you are smart"
This goes on for 2-3 times and then goes like "Dad, today at school each boy showed his wiener the the others and mine was triple the length", then comes the classic answer

Here in Dutch western Michigan the names are Cornielius and Fredrick and Johannas. I just copied the joke from elsewhere. We have a Zeeland also. I live 25 miles north of Zeeland Michigan.
