Because I don't like to get up at 7:00 a.m., I like to play golf in the daytime, and I'm not psychologically equipped to handle a REAL job. Just think about it... I get PAID to play music for people!! DonM

...Well...personally, if I didn't...I'd go nuts!! Some people sail, some collect stamps, others build models... ...for me, at least at this stage of my life...it's my release, my out, my "get all them frustrations out & clear my head" thing to do.

1. Can't fix things...can't build things..hate to cut grass, wash cars, etc. Extra income from playing makes me not feel guilty about hiring someone to do the things I do badly.
2. Daytime work involves creating music scores for films we produce, some radio and TV, so it all works together.
3. Been doing it longer than anything else.
4. Girls, parties (MUCH younger days!).
5. A lifelong learning experience...great fellowship with other musicians.
Whats this? You make MONEY doing this! You have it made Playing is a luxury to me. I learned I could fix things way before I knew I could play. Now I never need a repairman for anything(almost),but I can't play as much as I want to. I must be wired to play because I love to do it even though I am no Mozart.Playing in church doesn't pay me anything but then thats not why I play. I would be great to make a few buck at it though.
