Sheriff, believe me your English is a lot better than my German, and in many instances, your English is better than some who reside in the U.S.. Whoops! Almost forgot--we speak American--not English. (I was told that by a friend who resides in the UK.)

Cheers,

Gary

My husband and I always get into that argument Gary. He always tells me I speak 'American' not English. I always tell him he speaks 'Yorkshire', which believe me, doesn't sound a whole lot like English at times. LOL!

Woooow!!! Thank you very much, Gary!!!
Those compliments are making me melting...

Well, it shows me that my efforts are not for nothing. I will try to get much better because I think there are many problems with prepositions I have...
Thank you for giving me a new motivation...

This thread has been around almost as long as I have. Actually I'm 54, about to turn 55 in three weeks. Retirement is just 40 work days away. I'll finally make it out of the 8th grade

Cassp,
It is great that you get to retire at 54. That should give you a lot of years to do a lot of fun things.
I conclude you must be an 8th grade teacher up there in Michigan. I always felt the 8th grade was my best year through school including college. I went to a country school that had 8 grades and the principal was our teacher. He remained my friend until he died a couple of years ago.
Happy retirement and best to you,
Bebop

George,

As you are well aware, those of us that are self employed cannot retire until at least 3 days after we're dead. And, rigormortis must be setting in, and we must be smelling bad. If those conditions are not met, you must go back to work.

Cheers,

Gary
