I just heard a broadcast about a deadly virus that was a serious problem in 1918..It has resurfaced again and is transmitted thru the mail..

Maybe it is not a coincidence that Tyros2 recipients are getting sick..

Yeah, I figured as much - my Grandad never mentioned anything about a virus in his e-mail in 1918.

You guys would mess up a free lunch....

Virus's, trojans, email, 1918, Grandpa's...sshhhh

I guess I'm just getting old, I remember way back when you could buy a trojan at the gas station for 25 cents, protected you from virus'es. Whats the gals name with the initials "AVG"????

Sorry Fran, you started a nice community warning here, and we make fun of it, I apoligise! You may have a very valid concern, over several arranger players getting sick all at once, I'm guessing its just a normal percent of so many people getting sick this time of year, and we are just aware of ty II buyers all bunched up and reporting here.

Pose, I know of a few G70 buyers, and they are healthy as a horse...Maybe it's a combination of buyer's remorse[Tyros2] and flu season..

Fran,

This one would be medically and physiologically impossible. The virus could not survive long enough to make it through the mail, even if it was attached to the envelope's gummed closure flap. Virus' are fairly fragile, especially when it comes to temperature extremes, and the vast majority die in a matter of minutes after being exposed to a dry, cold environment. However, they can be easily transmitted via human mucosa, and primarily are passed from one person to another when the carrier coughs or sneezes. One more reason not to let someone else use your mic.

Cheers,

Gary

Fran, you wrote 1918?
Your G-1000 dates back to that era, give or take a few months, but maybe by now you have acquired an immunity, so that's the reason you are not having symptoms?

Virus in a box
tyros II in a box, at this point I don't care I just wish yamaha would get it here. They promised on or before the 15Th, and the music store, estimated before that date.

No as of yesterday! Starting to come down with Scott Yee Syndrome...

Gar: can't go along with your diagnosis of germ lifetimes. Kissed a 18 year old girl back in 55, had that virus until I got rid of it in 78......He He....pose

Pose....I think that is because she kissed you back...that completed the transfer of GERMS that made it possible for the virus to continue that long...I'll bet it was a HARD Virus to get rid of.....hehehe hope you get your T-2 soon....

Tony:
I think your right, couple offspring of those germs yeilded a darn good drummer, and a bass/guitar player both sing..Must of done something right in my lifetime.

Gar: If you keep poking yammaha with a stick, maybe they'll send you new screens for your 3000's Probably won't help much, One probably will just give you the time of day and the other will just show fish and how deep they are...

Fran: If I could get a tyros II made by Roland it would be heaven. All those keys and great sound. Really like Roland, But spent 3+ years trying to operate a Yamahoppie, don't want to start from scratch again with my limited onboard mechanical nogg'n. Starting to wonder if I can handle all those new buttons to push..

I think Fran is right. Some of you are having the flew. I'm also having the flew but nobody in my surrounding has it too, YET!!!
The only way that I could get contracted with the flew is the internet.
Hey, whom's virus am I wearing here??? Take it back!!!
