Didn't watch the Superbowl...in fact, didn't know who was playing or where it was.

Have been to one University of Kentucky basketball game and then I was hired by ABC as a still photographer (in the late 60's).

Know Tubby Smith and other sports guys from U of L and UK, but couldn't name a player.

Is that wierd? Just never got into it.
Anyone else out there a non-sports person?

Oh ya I'm a non-sports guy, but I did have to
check the score once in a while to see if UD's
Eagles were winning or loosing.

Me too. If it wasn't for UD's postings I wouldn't have known either. I did tune in to see Sir Paul M and I caught a couple commercials.

It sure was fun for most of the game. Best, most exciting SB in years. It was truly the best of bost sides...... just what it should be. Now, if we can learn from the mistakes and hone the skills where we fell short ..... next year will end differently!

Now this would be an interesting match up!!
Winners of U.S.A.'s SuperBowl vs Canada's Grey Cup. Initially 2 games. One in a U.S. city with NFL rules & regs, 100 yds, 4 downs. The other in a Canadian city, with Canuck rules & regs, 110 yds, 3 downs, and all the back bacon you can eat. If necessary, the rubber would be determined by the point spread, and where it would be played.
Have my people call your people and we'll set it up.

I love USA football, but really enjoy the Canadian version too, eh ... gotta love it when you get a couple of guys in motion at the same time ... kinda like USA 'arena' football ....
It would be interesting to see Belichick and company develop defenses for that ...

3 downs, 110 yards, chain saws, choker cables, and they play with a live pigskin, makes the game more interesting!

...Oh...and after the games, the winning team dumps American beer on the coach, apparantly, it has the same potency as Gator-Ade.
