Hay guys!
We always talk about our favorite synths, so why don't we talk about our favorite sounds.
My favorite sound is "A Touch Of Rain" on the wavestation EX/AD. It sounds like a nid 90's film soundrack. The lower part of the keyboard triggers very cool and crisp drum sequences while the upper provides a Juno like string pad layered with the characterystic M1 piano. There also some additional sound FX and drones in a backgrond. It sounds very crisp and kinda gives you that "fresh" feeling. It is probably one of the most inspiring sounds I ever heard/played. By moving the joystick it is possible to crossfade in between different drum sequences and FX. Simple, but still blows me away!

What about your favorites?

I have this patch for the Nord Modular that I found, called C64. It plays an octave hopping bassline which has a triangle wave playing a simple melody. Sounds very SIDish.

The "Hello" patch in the K2000 impressed me when I got the synth. It says "hello" with plain sawtooth waves and envelopes.
