A friend of mine is looking for the following for his son who is in college:
88 regular keys(not thin), touch sensitive, w/some effects ie, organ, strings, elec piano etc and w/ just basic computer functions and built in recorder...
portable, that will fit on stand ....
Any ideas?!?

Take a look at the Ketron GP10 (or if you want the onboard speakers, GP10a). One of the best sounding in the industry.

If you don't care too much about the sound and are just looking for something for a beginer, check out the CASIO PX 300.
