Does any one have the Cakewalk INS file for the PSR-540... I am having a horendous time trying to acces the sounds in my machine.

If not, maybe you could help me by explaning to me what the MSB and LSB Banks are... and how to access the MIDI program change numbers that are listed by them.

Any help is appreciated...

Thanks,

i use the yamaha xg ins and i think it should work for keyboards with xg. If some of the sounds were not listed, then you can add them and save the ins by looking at the voise list in your manual. I am using cakewalk and i made up my own ins for my PSR-A3 by using the same yamaha xg ins that came with cakewalk.

i you look at the end of your kybrd manual, you should find a list of all the sounds and thier MSB LSB bank number. This will also help to creat you own ins for your psr 540.
This is only if you were using cakewalk. i do not know how othe sofrwares work.
