How can I assign a midi message to the mod wheel on a DX-21?

Sounds like you're controlling something else with the DX. You'll have to select, if possible, on the receiving synth or module, what it will do with "mod" , "wheel" , or conrol#1. The cheapest way I know of to an assignable wheel is the Fatar or StudioLogic series controllers. They are various sizes, new and used. Hope this is of help.mn
