Does anyone know of a song by Reba entitled something like "His name was Bill"?
Any help would be appreciated.

Okay, normally I wouldn't know anything by Reba McIntire but the song you're talking about is called "She thinks his name was John". Not "bill".

I'll double check though.

... NO WONDER I couldn't find it ... I even looked through the words of that song, and since there was NO MENTION of a guy named "Bill", I just figured that couldn't be it ...

.... kinda reminds me of a time a number of years ago when I was playing a weekly gig and I was asked to play the song "Burning Bridges" ... I kept telling the woman I didn''t know any such song ... she kept insisting that she had heard me sing it!!! ... One night I'm singing "For the Good Times" and the same woman comes up and says "see... I TOLD you you knew that song!!!" ... I had to think awhile before I realized: "... there's no need to watch the bridges that we're burning..." !!!

A few years ago now, I put together "Slow Walkin' Walter...Fire Engine Guy", after some guy had phoned the radio station asking for it.
It took a little time for the DJ to ascertain that the song he wanted was Deep Purples, "Smoke On the Water"..Fire In The Sky.
The radio station included it on their parody "Dumb side of the Moon" CD, which had a number of parodied songs.
They sold the CDs and made about 12 grand for a Children's Hospital, so that was cool, and it felt good to be part of a worthy cause such as that.

OH my God that's funny. You buried Weird Al with that one, and with a good cause too.
I love doing benefits too. What could be better than for children
