Hi everyone!
My PSR 6700 can read any DOC music or songs it saves to regular floppies, but is unable to recognize any other format like GM files or all other midi files from the internet. For example, each time I insert a GM or a file unzipped from the internet it says:"Type Error or Unformat!"

Also, I tried a PSR 2000 at a music store last week but it could not recognize my DOC disks or any other songs I recorded from my old PSR 6700. What's wrong?
I would appreciate any help from the experts. Thanks.

I had once a PSR6700 sold it 2 years ago for $1200. Excellent work station. It plays DOC
format file only. I still have plenty of these
discs. You cannot play standard midi files using
the psr6700 disc drive. You need a midi filer
disc drive which I still have too and is in excellent condition. You need to connect it vis the serial cable to the midi in in the back of thekeyboard.
email me I can get you through it.
