Hello there new member here, I have just dicovered the joy of dowmloading free midi files and playing them on my 9000 pro, I have figured out how edit the file whilst it is playing but I don't how to save MY edited version of the file, can I do this on the 9000 pro or do I need to buy software for my pc to save my edited versions of midi files?
PS, I'm slightly technophobic.

Please be gentle with your replies, Many thanks.

Ross. You can do all your MidiFile editing within the 9K.
I won't go into the full details but....After loading in your MidiFile as if to play it, go to left of screen select Digital Recording Song. Select existing song and make your alterations as required. You can change volumes, pans, voices etc: and you can save back to floppy. Suggest you give your edited version another name so as not to alter the original in case you wish to refer back to it.
