I tried my level best to change config on PSR 540. I have a soundblaster LIve by creative, and a SoundCheck utility to test out send and recieve of midi tones to and from keyboard.
When the soundcheck sends out tones on different 16 channels one by one, the keyboad plays it ok. I can hear it.

But then when I try to play keyboard, the sound check utility shows all the 16 channel LEDs turned off, and saying waiting for the singal.

On PSR I set up all the channels to play R1 which should play the keys I am playing and soundcheck is suppose to show receive on at least one of the channels out of 16 but I don't so far.

I use ACID 4.0 to try to record something off of the keyboard, and its all empty. Nothing it receives from keyboard.

Could anyone please help me on this? Id greatly appreciate it.

Thanks

HOrizon

Hi

If you want your Yamaha to send arrangement notes to MIDI-out while you play, forget.

PSR-540 can transmit only your right-hand solo part.
