I have played with the AN1X in the store and everytime I get on the thing I want to jam out. Makes me want to party. Does the synth really have all that power, sound, and richness, or is it that when I go in an visit it, it just SEEMS that way. What I am asking: does the synth really scream or is it a facade? Help me out here I have some money that wants to go in that Synthy direction...

My AN1x Kicks butt. I was used to the sample playback synths. But the AN1x sound is totally refreshing. Price coudnīt be better.
Arpeggiattor is excellent, sequencer is cool.

The AN1x can produce impressive and fat sounds because it has two oscillators (both with pulse width modulation), feedback and unisono mode. Furthermore FM, Sync and Ringmodulation are intergrated. With its effects on board you can make it sound pretty expensively. Using its cool 16 Step Sequencer you can compose lines you donīt get in a software sequencer that easy way.
With this package the AN1x is really a good and cheap solution compared to other virtual analog synths eg Roland JP 8000 or Access Virus.
