Christmas Greetings from Sydney.
I am searching for the sheet music of "Me and Mrs. Jones" and "You're the Closest Thing to Crazy"(melody line and chords are
fine) to suit my PR903 digital piano or KN5000.
Nobody in OZ has been able to help and I need some new songs to drive me.Ihope someone on this great Technics site can help.
See Ya !!!

Thanks Audrey. You people are amazing!!!! I might have the title wrong....It is sung by Michael Buble and the first line I think starts thus..."Me and Mrs. Jones, We've got a thing going on"....It's an old swing/big band type number, very slow and dreamy. If you recognise it please reply.

Hi Saintly one...
Don't try and play 'Katie Melua's song the closest thing to crazy' because each bar changes from 3/4 to 4/4 and is therefore pretty much impossible on an Arranger keyboard....the litle devil she is!!

HI Rog

Re Closest thing to Crazy - Just play it in 4/4 time. It works OK and can be sung without any problem.

Here it is recorded live on Tyros2 with one of my Sunday night singers (70 yrs old)

PS Best wishes to old my old Technics friends

Roger ... I would figure you would have saved up a couple of Panel Memory set ups and just had that foot controller going 'crazy' ... ...

Tried it Tony but there are such differences between the instrumentation; rhythm style; and not least unsolvable tempo challenges....
Hi John - yea but it just don't sound right compared to Katie's version - it means the singer dragging out part of the lyrics, althtough I do play it using '70s Ballad'.
Anyway have a great Xmas all.
