Some time back I recall threads about the organ volume in particular decreasing for no apparent reason.I think someone thought it was due to the expression pedal being attached. This happened to me and I can't find the discussian. I use a Yamaha pedal but don't want to buy a Technics if that is not the problem. Can anyone tell me if this issue has been resolved ?
Thanks Bernie

Hi Bernie,
I remember the topic arising a long time ago and decided to do a search for you. So far I have this reference for you to check. I'll continue searching for other references and will share them with you if they exist. Meanwhile - check here: http://www.synthzone.com/ubbs/Forum25/HTML/000296.html

Hi Bernie, As you stated "the organ volume in particular decreasing for no apparent reason", I immediately thought of the thread(s) about the modulation wheel not been put to zero. If you turn it up, most organ voices will decrease in volume (Look in Sound Edit -> Controller). Beats me why Technics made the preset this way..... Ad

Hi Ad That is the reference I was thinking about.I know that the MW and exp pedal were thought of as the possible culprits. The mod wheel may have been turned up during transporting and I didn't notice it.
Thanks Bernie

Hi Bernie. It was my fault that this particular thread was started. Even the technics were baffled for a while. In my case it was tiny fingers who like to twiddle the buttons and switches which caused the problem. The Mod Wheel must be set to Zero. Q: WHY a: DON'T KNOW Regards p.b.
