Alec, what you said in your post re Brian's playing! He was for some time the official demonstrator for Hammond in the U.K. I particularly seeing him demonstrate on the then newer Hammonds, after they came under the Suzuki wing, probably about 1982/83 and he had what I can only describe as a party trick of playing a melody on each keyboard,including pedals, and each one was a different tempo. This was of course without any rhythm accompaniment. Hammond at that time were not very strong on the orchestral sounds, but with Brian playing he used to imitate them just with Drawbars.
Ah! Fond memories.
This is my last post for a while, as I am to fly to Florida again tomorrow morning, for 2 weeks, so I hope you've got the place warmed up Fran.
