Right zap it over from your keyboard again direct to Audio Recorder down the USB cable - presumably you have it saved on your SD Card as a sequence file.
Then save it as a Wav file and see if you've still got the extraneous silent spot.
As a matter of interest what songs have you recorded so far?

You need a program call ed Cool Edit and it will get the job done for easily.

there is no more Cooledit.

the intellectual property of Syntrillium has been bought out by Adobe so it is now Audition.

Hi Bill

I find it very easy for what I'm using the unit for to play a piece and, while playing it on the keyboard, simply get the audio recorder running. Then when I'm finish, I edit the resultant file using Nero 6 Wave Editor, then save the file.

I then import the finished file into my Roland SPDS and assign it to one of the trigger pads, and VOILA! ;-)

Kind regards
Chris

Glad you've got a result Chris I forgot to mention the editor in Nero - I use Goldwave for all my audio editing.

Thanks for your response! Actually, what I really need help with now (considering I'm a lazy git) is a quick and easy way to record multiple tracks. The stuff I've done is OK but it sounds a little "thin". I think it would be better with a bit of filling out... any guidance and tips appreciated from anyone out there!!

Regards
Chris
