Hello All:

I like to take one midi sequencer Part/Track and put it in the composer Part Accomp 3. When I use the Composer "Seq to Composer" feature to copy just the Midi Track 1 to Composer>Memory A, >Variation 1, Accomp 3. All the existing Beats in Variation 1 are cleared except for Accomp 3.

Is this by design? If so, how would one go about in taking one midi track/part, just one, and insert it in the composer memory Part accompt 3, without clearing the already built composer parts that are present, drums bass, etc?

If I touched on this subject in past, please bare with me, my memory is not what it used to be.

Anthony

copy the sequencer track to unused composer C, then use page 2 of the Pattern Copy menu to KEEP all the existing composer A tracks except the one you wish to COPY from composer C.

Thanks technicsplayer, page two of pattern copy, thats where it was at. I remember now, that I copied the one Part in an un-needed Memory Bank (seq to comp copy). Then using pattern copy page two, copied it to the memory bank where I wanted it.

(Memory Bank = Composer A B C)

Last time I did this was sometime ago and needed a memory jog.

Again thanks,

Anthony
