I've been trying to use a program called MDBC (Music Data Base Converter from Keysoft Service) to transfer my KN5000 song data to my KN7000 SD card. The transfer is not going well with corruptions happening. Is there a better way please?

Hi Alan,
Happy new year!.I think you would benifit from getting hold of a copy of Alec Pegida's book "Getting the most from your KN 7000" it covers alot of the thing you have been asking about and alot more besides.
If you go to Technote's web site the book is now on CD-rom, you get 2 CD's, one is the book and the other is examples and software to help you get the most out of your KN.Alec was also one of the writers for Techplus mag which is also now on CD-rom full of verry usefull tips on all Technic organ/keyboard and piano.
Wish you well regards John.

Alan, if you have your 5000 settings on a floppy, put this in the floppy drive on the KN7 the press the SD Card button, then press SD TOOLS, then press COPY FROM DISK.
The screen will change and on the left will show what's on the floppy with an arrow pointing to the right column. Using the up/down keys at bottom of screen, go to the first EMPTY Folder which should automatically be highlighted. Then press O.K. and your floppy will automatically load to that Folder on your SD Card.
All that remains is for you to name the Folder so that you know where to find it.

Hope this helps.

Audrey
