I am looking at running my Digitech Vocalist VR through the 7000. I can plug one out from VR into mic and disable reverb with some improvement but there must be a better way.

Anyone out there that is doing this ?

Bernie

go to the favorites, then the setting menu, scroll down to other menus, and set the vocalist workstation shortcut under one of your favorite buttons. You then have 2 pages of setup for every function of your digitech.

I didn't explain that I want to use the 7000 as a stand alone in a small venue. However, the Digitech has superior processing since it is dedicated. I usually use doubling programs since I am new to this and don't know my way around chordal and scalic programs. I realise that you have to use a midi connection for those programs, but, I want to use the sound sytem of the 7000.

I hope this helps.

sure, you have various line outs at the rear to choose from. The 1/4 inch line outs should go strsight into the 7k line in to be mixed with slider on the panel, or there are separate mono outputs with switchable -10dB padding if needed, depends on your mic, level setting, and whichever works best for minimum noise.
