Does anyone have experience with any of the software for adding lyrics to a midi file? I have found software that will read the lyrics and software that is difficult to use as far as timing the lyrics to the music. Would like something simple where I can type the lyrics under the note. I have a Technics KN6500 that will display any lyrics added to a midi file so I thought this might me something neat to add to my midis. I also have a computer using Windows XP. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Peter

Lyrics are normally inserted into a midi file as meta events. Most sequencers will allow you to enter the lyrics into the event list. This is a bit awkward though. Power Tracks Pro has a lyric editing window and you can align the lyric with the music in the notation window. It's only $29 so even if it doesn't quite do what you want you still have a good cheap sequencer. (www.pgmusic.com)
