Just signed on looks like a good forum. I'm looking for a manual for midi operation and setup for recording into my computer. I did it before but have misplaced my manual. What series of buttons do I use to change to midi mode?? I'm assuming everything else is OK. Thanks in advance!

Hi
I'm not familiar with your EX, but you might
get help at http://www.technote.com/ forum
or/and http://www.kool-keys.com/index.html
too. This last one is a organ site.
Good luck
GJ

Hi
I used to own an EX30L. But, I never really fooled around with MIDI on it. As I remember, it was Japan MIDI. That is, before the General MIDI standard came out. So, I think it's going to be tricky to set up. Plus, it doesn't have the general MIDI set of instruments. Only around 25 or 30 of them. Would you believe, when I bought my Yamaha PSR530, I had to GIVE my EX30L away. I tried to sell it, but found absolutely no buyers. I donated it to a first grade class in public school. But, for a year or two, I kept it to use as an amp for my 530. It sounded great!
