Create own styles

Be honest: Aren´t the factory styles e.g. from Roland good for everything and that means good for nothhing ?
Trumpest appear and play riffs which have nothing to do with Your favorite songs, and so on.

Wouldn´t it be nice to create own styles from a MIDI Song especially designed for your best songs ?

As I am a hobby programmer (VB) ,I would like to write such a program for my Roland styles keyboard EM50 (Custom Styles !! There are 8 loadlable styles in one data-file !! Not User-Styles ), but:

Noone knows how Roland encodes it´s special SYSEX messages which contain the whole style.

Or does anybody know?

There are style designers and they must know the code.
Can anyone of them help me ?

Attention: Style SYSEX messages are not the same as MIDI SYSEX messages !!

No one knows the secrets of programming the Roland style files. Roland refuses to share the info. Some very smart Roland players in the Roland-Arrangers-Group tried and tried, but could not decipher the mystery. Good luck to you if you try.
