I was wondering how many if any members here use the Kn6500 or other kn more for rock and roll than anything like me. I am 39 years old and am not into the same music as most people here. I use my kn6500 to play and record rock. While I still find this forum useful and entertaining, I do not seem to be in the same era as most. Actually for all I know at this point is I may be the only one here that is into rock and roll as my main interest in music. All those like me say I.
Thanks
Tony

Me too! I like a little bite with my beat and use rock styles a lot. There are hundreds of them out on the net, so one never runs out of different styles. Check out the rock style I used for "Rhiannon" on Bebop's 20-4-1 vol.1 disk. It has some teeth to it.

Hi Sparky
I'd like to take a guess that many members were around when it started.
If you're interested I'll send you a few styles that I used on my 6000. The 7000 ones aren't backwards compatible

Bud, I haven't been able to find much for rock styles on the net. Not free at least. Maybe you can point me to some or send some my way? That would be great if you could!

John, sure man, send em on over! Always glad to add to my disk collection. The more the marrier as they say!
Good to see there are some rockers in here! I wasn't sure there were. All the 20for1's were more like clissical and soft music.

Oh and hey,,, Last night I discovered something cool. I wanted a powerful drum kit but wasn't quite happy with the one on my 6500 "power kit" so what I did was used the power kit on drum 1 track and then copied the track to drum 2 and assigned the pop kit to drum two, while leaving the power kit on track one. Adjusted the volumes of them so that the two made a perfect mix and it is awesome. Powerful but the pop kit at a lower volume hides the tone of the power kit that I don't care for. Try it out man. You'll be surprised. The bass drum and snare is powerfulthat way. Granted this does not leave 2 drum tracks to use for different parts as they are both identical, But it serves a great purpose as far as sound goes. So there you have it. No matter what kits you use, two drum tracks the same with different kits can really smoke!
Enjoy!
