Hi, Everybody!
I'm glad to see some activity for a change. Even though most of the conversation is about the later (KN5000--KN6000) models, I find it interesting and I learn from it.
I have a KN2000 and doubt if I would trade even for one of the later models. The major limitation that I find is lack of a hard drive (slow loading times)and lack of a built in means of copying sequencer patterns to composer patterns.

Are there any more live KN2000 players out there?----- If so, let's hear from you.
Walt

Hello Walt,

You will find several KN2000 owners listed on the Technics Players List, with their email addresses. Check it out and correspond directly with them. You will find several places on my main page that you can go to for patterns.

Reagards,

I have added to the Technics Players List to include a link to the new "KN6500"

I think the picture is a phony (appears to be a mirror shot of the KN6000), but at least they are talking about it.

Hi Dave,
Hope you found my e-mail re KN6500 and EW65 upgrade board informative but in reply to your last message on this forum:the new KN6500 has the same case and layout is unaltered apart from re-labelling Rhythm buttons to accommodate the 20 new rhythms, so the photo would look the same as that for the KN6000.

Regards,
Derek

Actually rdr, it looks like the real thing to me, as the silver pads have changed from the black ones on the kn6000 - and it seems to look different anyway.

Thanks to Jupiter for the current photo and features of the new KN6500. I have included both at the bottom of my web page:
