Okay Gent's, I found someone who is going to repair the organ. Ted Thompson, of Speakeasy Vintage Music. They don't repair Farfisa's, but I emailed Ted, and he said he wou;d work on it personally. So I took it up this past Tuesday, for him to work on. Fortuneatly for me I live in Maryland, and he is in Dover PA, which is an hour's drive from where I live. The place is really cool, it's not a typical shop, with a storefront, but it's in the owner's house. Ted is the General manager, and senior techician. The have a warehouse, and the shop is in a basement. They mostly work on Rhodes & Wurlitzer Pianos. The will even chop up Hammond organs, to make them more portable. There warehouse is full of electric pianos and organs. The also work on some analog synths as well, but it's predominately the Rhode's and Wurlie's. They are perdomintaely web based, and do there business over the web, or phone, and take in paions from all over the world, to restore. It's going to be a few weeks, since he has to work in his spare time, but I'm in no rush.

If any of you have a Rhode's, Wurli, or Hammond, that needs, repair, or conversion, contact them.

Well, I just picked up the organ today, and it sounds great! Ted did a good job rapiring it back to it's orignal sound.

BTW: It's "repairing" not "rapiring"

Good, so what was wrong with it?

Some of the transitiors needed to be replaced, along with ac couple of tubes, it needed to be retuned, which it had not been, since it left the factory. Contcats under the keys were cleaned. Basiclly it was rebuilt.
