Its best not to break any treatment (Unless the doctor decides otherwise) as you may be worse off in the long run.
Remember, anything worthwhile in life, usually involves pain before the gain.

The oncologist agreed with me and scheduled another PET Scan for me in three months. One of the side effects was pulmonary fibrosis, which I already am suffering with. The radiation therapy more than likely exacerbated the fibrosis, making it nearly impossible to breathe. After nearly three weeks, I am still struggling, but I'm a bit stronger than I was the night of the second treatment. The oncologist said the follow-up scan will reveal how much additional damage I incurred.
